Moradores lutam para conseguir tratamento de esgoto no Morumbi
Na região do Morumbi, bairro nobre da Zona Sul de São Paulo, há casas que ainda não têm fossas, demonstrando que o problema de falta de saneamento básico não existe só junto à população de baixa renda da capital.
No Morumbi, inclusive, há condomínios de luxo que despejam esgoto direto no Rio Pinheiros, sem tratamento.
A designer Luciana Figueiredo Coelho comprou uma casa na rua Rafael Carozzo, no Morumbi, há 7 anos e nem imaginava o problema. Como a casa tem fossa e rua não coleta esgoto, ela convive com o problema de que a fossa pode transbordar, inundando até o lavabo da casa. “Eu acho inacreditável”, diz ela.
O programa “Profissão Repórter” também já denunciou o problema, mostrando que a sujeira segue até os rios, desaguando no Pinheiros e no Tietê.
Luciana conta que recebeu recentemente a visita de uma equipe da Sabesp, que deu um prazo para que a rede de esgoto ficasse pronta até janeiro, e que, inclusive, uma empresa foi contratada para o serviço.
Em março de 25015, os moradores de um prédio da rua reclamaram que os moradores só souberam que não havia rede de esgoto completa somente após a compra. Até a rua, a tubulação do prédio está feita. Mas a rede de esgoto caía direto na rede de água e de lá, para o rio Pinheiros.
A situação só piorou neste período, conta a subsíndica do condomínio, Flavia Gallete. Mais 6 novos prédios foram construídos no quarteirão neste período.
A presidente da Associação Panamby, Rosa Richter, diz que há anos pede à Sabesp que faça o tratamento do esgoto produzido no bairro, que não para de crescer. Segundo ela, todos os dejetos de 4 mil moradores do bairro vão parar no rio Pinheiros sem tratamento algum.
A Sabesp diz que na rua onde fica o condomínio há rede de esgoto, só não explicou se é só coleta, como dizem os moradores. Sobre a rua das casas com fossa, a Sabesp confirmou que em janeiro de 2017 irá terminar uma obra para levar o esgoto para a estação de tratamento de Barueri, na Grande São Paulo.
